The Apulian duo born in 2019, published, after only one year, the first self-produced full-length.

A work that draws inspiration from Black Metal very popular in the early 2000s, in fact, with "The Devouring Fire Of Morality", the band traces sounds that recall the Infernum's albums of "Farewell" or "... Taur- nu-fuin .... ", except for the voice, here much more serious and for the different use of synths.

The seven tracks that make up the album are permeated by a dreamy atmosphere, in which the riffing of the guitars searches for melancholy melodies, composing linear songwriting, embroidered with inserts of acoustic guitar and synths; breaks, restarts, and a widespread reverberation, once again refer to the sound of twenty years ago.

The drum programming and the bass, well present and deep, create an adequate rhythm section, even if the work of a real drummer would certainly have enriched the songs.

The album is also characterized by the use of samples scattered almost everywhere: the crackle of the fire, the chirping of birds, the tolling of bells, the breath of the wind, the thunder of lightning, accompany and allow you to travel with the mind. in places of other times!

The production is of a good level and enhances each instrument, overall everything is well balanced.

Ultimately the Vulfehrie gives a good half hour of atmospheric Black Metal that will delight the nostalgic admirers of sounds that have almost disappeared!
