Svederna released their third album "Härd" and dedicated themselves to prosecutors of the more radical Swedish Black Metal scene, already full of worthy exponents.
The constancy in the sonority, together with a properly balanced mixing and careful production, but above all a real and raw sound by natural great drumming, make "Härd" a valuable work that captures the listener.
It is essentially a purely Black Metal album, the arrangements of the three guitarists contribute to the construction of direct songs in which the melodic part also finds space; but it is J. Holmberg's voice, desperate and aggressive, that enhances the pressing progression of each track.
The merit of these ten pieces is the smooth fluidity with which the arrangements manage to maintain a well-structured sound constancy, the simplicity of the whole composition ensures engaging listening.
The structural continuity found in the sounds inevitably reflects the stability of the formation itself, only bassist S. Frödeberg Karlin is a new member since 2017.
In "Härd" original solutions stand out, alternating with classicisms of the genre, the third work of the band, about 48 minutes, is more refined than the previous ones, and the linearity and consequentiality of the whole album are admirable.
Without a doubt one of the best Black Metal releases of recent times.
