Few or nothing is known about Nova, the only information available on the web is that the band is made up of four members, maybe from the Veneto region (North Italy), and after their debut "Il Ritorno" in 2014, they released three years later "Soli Contro il Mondo"; there is no promotional news about this release, same as for the debut album.
Nine tracks of Black Metal with epic tones inspired by the Norwegian trend, but which is contaminated by a hint of Black 'n Roll that makes a very personal
    sound.

The reverberated guitars create thick sonic walls, a mark for the band's sound; no particular technicalities, open chords, sporadic arpeggios and palm muting with a "Thrash Metal" attitude are used to vary the incessant river of sound. The drums do their utmost but never exasperated rhythms with natural and dynamic sounds, supporting the harmonies and giving the right movement to the compositions together with the bass, a full-bodied binder in a sumptuous mix.
Nova are the creators of a direct and effective linear songwriting, with a rather dynamic Italian singing that ranges from shouted to growl, perfectly sewn on the musical base even metrically.
    The level of the
production is excellent, a warm sound mixture with explosive vehemence, a clean and raw sound at the same time, such as the noises of strident amplifiers that then give way to the real sound, compact and impenetrable.

An overall work of indisputable quality, in which the title track, "Pietra della Corona di Lucifero" and "Terra dei Morti" stand out.
Nothing is known even about the topics dealt with, the texts, in fact, are not even present on the artwork and are hardly grasped during listening... a choice that adds further mystery to this proud Italic reality, capable of literally kidnap the listener!
