Nordheim: a name, a promise kept.

A complete album composed of just three long tracks that take the listener on a journey through forests, glaciers, and the scent of fjords, embodying the icy sound typical of Scandinavian bands.

The artist, Radok, succeeds in creating a work rich in nuance, evident in the simple and evocative cover art. The songwriting is full of pathos, especially in the guitar parts. The vocals are incredibly visceral and seem metaphorically covered in pure snow. The album flows without any particular stylistic variations; it's impossible to describe a single solo track, as they are all part of the same journey. At times, it recalls Arising Realm, the second album by Norwegian band Ragnarok, while at other moments it evokes the best tracks from the more recent Nifrost; however, the project's clear intent is evident. The band, originally from Trentino-Alto Adige, is actually a solo project driven by a single mind. Before this 2025 full-length, he had only released a demo in 2007 and a split in 2020.

An artist who offers fans of Nordic Black Metal a truly remarkable melodic and melancholic album.
