A few months after the release of the self-titled album, featuring the obscure narrator Nequam of The Magick Way as guest vocalist, Malauriu are back with this Mcd in which the stylistic versatility of the Sicilian band assumes a role of primary importance and highlights the uniqueness of their sound proposal.
"De Natura Obscuritatis" has its roots in primordial Black Metal and its purest and most sacred genesis. Therefore, there are no glossy and crystalline arrangements, but raw and low-fi sounds capable of further enhancing the dark aura of the sound.
"Red Goat Rises", is a disturbing and irreverent mantra supported by an aggressive riffing, "Putridarium" has a funereal trend enriched by monastic songs, "The Locust", a theme of devastation and death, symbolized by the insect to which the piece refers inspires, it is a cadenced and hypnotic song.
The title track is an invitation to place yourself in a meditative state. This inner search wants to expand in unison with the vibrations generated by the contemplation and understanding of the nature of darkness.
