Kaiserreich was born in 2004 the founders are the singer Serpent Est and the bassist, T. Morgan, the only original members still present.
“Sigma” is their fourth full-length, published in 2018 by Vacula productions / Narcoleptica prod.: from the very first notes the band's desire to present a brave work with a good personality is highlighted.
Not boring the listener with a single 32-minute song is not easy and the result, in our opinion, is partially achieved.
The vocal is the best part of the studio work, sometimes more related to the Dark vein, sometimes classically Black Metal and decidedly fierce, good quality recited parts create truly evocative atmospheres.
About music, the levels expected from a band with 17 years of activity behind it, with some experience in the recording studio, as well as live performances are not reached, it seems logical to expect higher quality performance.
The ideas are good and you feel that the band has its personality that tries to bring out, but the drums are not dynamic and not even precise as they should, the guitars, especially in the more melodic and structured parts, denote a rather uncertain execution, in addition, they are not well blended with everything else.
The hope is that in these years following the release of "Sigma", the band has managed to improve technically to be able to present a new, more balanced album.
