Line Up:
Short-lived full-length this "Phobos Anomaly", released digitally and CDr format under Imperatrix Mundi Records in 2020; the recent project sees as the only mind and creator Aasketh who splits his productions into two distinct entities: one, "Feldvehn", centred on more classical sounds in Norwegian style and the other "Hades Nexus 16" which approaches the current Industrial Black Metal, but in a transversal way, maintaining in the musical base a "dirt" background with a direct and evil riffing, without presenting extravagant solutions or excessively stuffed with "synthetic" samples.
The intro, "Tunnels", with its mechanical and metallic noises, opens to the first real track "Enshrined Divinities": initially aggressive and devastating, with a central part of only drums and samples accompanied by a dissonant guitar that scans singles notes before resuming a full riffing in the finale; the latter solution was proposed later.
"Red Code Hijacked", direct and sharp; "Antichristian Soul Incarnation Procedure" is the most Industrial of the album, with an explosive drum programming and samples reminiscent of special effects used in science fiction movies of the '80s; in "Synthetic Demonic Flesh" unexpectedly unsettling clean vocals appear; "Luciferian Nexus" purely Black Metal, inserts with computer sounds and a final of only drums and undistorted guitar.
Concludes the album "Dispersal Facility", a mix of brutality, characterized by a tight riffing and the frenzied and inhuman rhythm section that creates an almost ambient atmosphere, with hints of a piano.
The formula proposed by Aasketh, works well: were other bands in the past have failed by daring too much, this album hits the target, measuring the effects and branding everything with a raw and angry screaming, full of wickedness, at the limit of the clumsy, very close to the style of Necro by the Swedish Pest and Nocturno Culto "Panzerfaust".
A really evil debut album!
