In the Italian Black Metal scene, Grimwald has always been synonymous with stylistic coherence and proud spokespersons of the black flame. They confirm this in "Lux Perit in Tenebris", the second episode of the triad completed in 2020 with "Elitarian Shades of Grimness".

A dark and epic intro is the prelude to “Die Forever”, a song that effectively combines the primitive violence of Darkthrone, the grandeur of Bathory and the decadence of Nihili Locus. The following "The Mountain of Silence", while underlining the band's strong "Nordic" influences, turns to more martial and cadenced sounds and then creates deep emotional states, thanks to the melodies of the piano at the end.

“With Pale Eyes they Contemplate”, supported by a relatively obscure guitar riffing, suddenly gives way to a part in pure Cold Meat Industry style; in the introduction of “Suicide is not a Crime” it is the combination of excruciating screaming and guitars that stand out.

"With Cold Skin they not in Graves" instead gives an expressive boost to the album, bringing some interesting Dark influences that are also taken up in the initial part of "Aches and Black Soil", this last song can be considered the stylistic summa of Grimwald ... rough, melancholy, dark, epic… Black Metal !!
