Crifotoure Satanarda, is a Japanese band that, in some ways, proves to be decidedly bold.

We are in a purely Black Metal context with references to and themes of Viking or medieval wars, which is, therefore, a concept that encompasses the search for a culture different from the band's original one.

The trio comprises Dike Necrotomy Poseidon behind the drums, Storm War Command Poseidon on vocals and keyboards, and Torment k.k. Poseidon on vocals and bass.

The album we are analyzing is a compilation of the band's works, which have followed one another throughout its career and have been active since 2000.

The proposed genre is a visceral Black Metal, composed of cavalcades of malignity, thanks also to the singing full of pathos capable of unleashing an overwhelming expressiveness.

Black Metal riffs with Thrash Metal influences and unexpected atmospheric changes with the help of synths that bring back ancient atmospheres.

A band whose goal is not innovation, but to express themselves through the passion for a granitic Black Metal with a Norwegian flavor.

In this collection, in fact, there is no reference to the compositional style of other Japanese bands, the voice, for example, brings back to the European style and you can perceive a great mastery in the compositional and executive work.

The most interesting songs are Crusader and The Blaster of Extermination, with truly remarkable guitar solos!

Prelude of Despondency, is a highly evocative instrumental song with its melody full of glory.

Ultimately, an interesting album for fans of old-school Black Metal with Lo-fi sounds, also thanks to well-executed drumming with natural raw sound sounds.

Over 40 minutes of pitch black, a bow to this Japanese band!
