The second album for Acid UFO Death Cult; the latter, according to the founder Ali, stylistically differs from the previous "Oblivion", intentionally focusing on a primitive and cold Black Metal assisted in the intent by choice of drum programming.

The mix of styles between raw Black Metal and Ambient, also present in Ali's other projects, supports the entire mini album, however, this choice can be limiting to the potential of the project.

Each track is basically built on one or two guitar riffs, the repetitiveness of the same, extended for the duration of an entire song, flattens the listening.

The album opens with "Full Moon (intro)" a very obscure introduction in which all the instruments, lined up on the same melodic line, are accompanied by a drum programming that evokes a shamanic drum and the voice.

We then move on to "Depressive Summer", with an ambient beginning that remotely brings back certain impressions of HIidskjalf, however continuing it is difficult to sustain the song in which only two riffs are repeated for over four minutes.

"Sun Outside, Chills Inside Me" opens with a simple arpeggio and continues with a single guitar riff for the rest of the duration without the addition of the synths.

In "Aesthetic of Decadence" we find again an initial arpeggio immediately followed by a good melodic guitar line, but even here the choice is not to add the synths; this is the most articulated piece of the entire work, also given the duration of 14 minutes. Once again, however, it is difficult to maintain some attention until the end.

"Ruins" closes the album: The first riff is reminiscent of Von's "Satanic Blood" and then moves on to a well-constructed phrasing. From here the piece opens to the melody for a few seconds and then culminates in a passage with cheerful tones.

Aside from the final riff, this is perhaps the most convincing piece of the entire Ep.

While respecting the stylistic choices of the composer, the listener may see the need for more outstanding care in the construction and structuring of the songs.
