The one-man band Catanese Lord Agheros, active since 1999, cuts the remarkable milestone of six full-lengths and does so with this "Koinè", an album hardly attributable to canonical Black Metal, where the component more in line with the origins now plays an almost marginal role, in favour of a more modern structure and sound with ambient openings and female voices.

More evocative parts alternate in the composition, made such by the use of instruments suitable for the purpose such as the piano or the organ, with others more violent with imposing guitars with a dry and full-bodied timbre, all accompanied by an essential drum programming, but impactful.

Gerassimos Evangelou uses a grave screaming, in line with the current trend, well reverberated and blended with the compositions.

"Sow" is the closest we find to the Black Metal trend, however, it is reductive to extrapolate a single song, the album, of undoubted quality, is to be grasped in its entirety to be transported on a sonic journey with different facets; Koinè could be considered as a soundtrack in film production.
