An excellent debut release of Disamara, one-man band from Piedmont ( north Italy ); " Notturna è la quiete ", this is the title of the album, which from the very first notes shows all its pleasantness and maturity, in addition to the technical-compositional skills of Maur, which was already active in the past with other bands from Italian scene such as Malinvern, Aivarim and The Art.In this full length that lasts over 45 minutes, the listener is accompanied on a journey through the emotions and nature of man: lyrics are written as if they were poems, sung in Italian, and a raw which, masterly, looks back to the old school BM. Everything is balanced and distinguishable, from the cold guitar picking to the pulsating sound of the bass, which is prominent, and even the programmed drum still sounds natural.The composition of the songs is mainly inspired by Norwegian style, although reinterpreted in a personal way; fast paced moments intersperse with others in which synths and acoustic guitars pleasantly take over, turning into a delight for the listener." Notturna è la quiete " is a mandatory listening for those looking for something more than the simple sonic violence of Black Metal. Highly recommended!
