Alasteth, is a band with a shadowy mantle as very little is known about its origins.

Natives of the now consolidated German underground scene, like many bands from the black forest that have blossomed, they released their first album "The Nihilism of Alasteth".

The mastermind appears to be mainly Beleth (formerly part of the band Cerberus), in this project is a multi-instrumentalist composer; His partner Alastor (former member of the well-known Zarathustra) takes care of the vocal part in this fast-paced pace of pure Black Metal.

A work that does not have the shamelessness of wanting to create something new and renowned, but rather of playing with passion an excellent Black Metal that branches out among the most classic (the first Norwegian releases) and that winks at a typical melody of fellow country bands like Imperium Dekadenz.

No outbursts of blast beats, but rather controlled bpm, an ancient journey through melodies with a defined sound that wants to captivate the listener.

The vocal line with "scratched" and sometimes recited tones follow the riffing melodies well.

An album that contains classic mid-tempos, moments of epicness, and sometimes ceremony.

Composed, played with attitude and heart.

Among the most epic riffs are the beginning of "Forever Forlorn", and the conclusion of "Faded Glory".

    Must listen!
